Description: Our client is currently seeking a US - BUSINESS ANALYST III.
Summary: The main function of a business analyst is to analyze process, engineering, business and all other data processing problems for application to systems. A typical business analyst is responsible for analyzing user requirements, procedures and problems to automate or improve existing systems capabilities, workflow and scheduling limitations. Can typically expect to work standard hours, though important projects or looming deadlines can require some overtime work. Must be able to work in remote environment as a self-starter and independent worker with effective networking skills who is resourceful in navigating through challenging regulatory project environments.

Responsibilities:
Gather requirements from business units and translate those into detailed business requirements.
Responsible for identifying inefficiencies, problem areas, and possible improvements.
Collect, sort, and study different sets of information to assist with root cause identification in order to develop solutions
Confer with clients regarding the nature of the information processing needs.
Prepare regulatory gap analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation.
Interview or survey workers, observe job performance or perform the job to determine what information is processed and how it is processed.
Responsible for coming up with some conclusions about what analysis findings mean, as well as educating business executives on how to use them.
Skills:
Excellent Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage ones time.
Experience managing requirements and utilizing requirements traceability.
Previous financial services experience required.
Education/
Experience:
Bachelor's degree required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
5-7 years experience required.
Regulatory, Dodd-Frank and Consumer Collections & Recovery experiences are a plus.
Must have:
Dodd Frank experience
Business Analyst experience

Regulatory experienceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
