Job Description Understands how the business is performing at any given moment by monitoring the business activity of all production units
under the Bank Operations umbrella. This includes: Deposit Operations, Payment Operations, Retail Loan Operations,
Commercial Loan Operations, and Fraud and Collections.
Develops and maintains a comprehensive Business Day Run Book containing a schedule of milestones and critical events
required to perform key operational functions within SLA. Establishes clear and concise reporting requirements with the
business lines.
Escalates non conforming activities within the business lines for resolution. Assesses the impact of such exceptions and, with
the business line, documents recovery plans if needed. Tracks recovery plans to provide Bank Operations communications.
Establishes regular status communications periodically throughout the business day.
Analyzes exception activities to determine trends and improvements. Coordinates activities with Innovation and Excellence.
Serves as the Incident Manager for all major Bank Operations incidents.
Coordinates and communicates focal point for all major incidents being managed by other TD Command Centers.
Conducts and/or participates in Post Incident Reviews.
Engages as appropriate other areas to either implement process improvements and/or technology solutions uncovered during
the PIR exercise.
Establishes/maintains relationships with LOBs across all areas of the Bank to be kept informed of any activities that could
impact Bank Operations.
Provides Bank Operations Senior Management on a monthly basis information and analysis of overall incident activity.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

years related experience required
Proven successful management experience in an Operations role.
Proven organizational planning, analytical and decision-making skills.
Proven strategic planning, leadership, delegation, coaching and mentoring skills.
Expert knowledge and understanding of bank operations, department policies, procedures, products, services, systems and
applications.
Proven ability to succeed in a fast pace metrics driven environment.
Proven experience in developing new policies, procedures and methods in response to, and in anticipation of, changes in the
business and regulatory environment.
Proven ability to interact with all levels of internal and external Customers.
Proven ability to meet and exceed Customer expectations.
Proven ability to make sound judgments in decision making process.
Excellent PC skills, including proven knowledge of Windows.
Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Ability to serve as resource to Payment Operations Group Managers, Payment Operations Managers and operational team.
