-Preference will be given to those candidates with a strong Stress Testing, Swaps/Trading or Financial Project Management background.
-Ideally have some type of regulatory change management, specifically Dodd Frank
-A business focused Program Manager experienced with the PMLC & SDLC methodology as well as project financial reporting and reconciliation.
- Ability to manage a Project Management team, coordinate weekly review sessions with Business Executives and generate weekly program dashboard reporting
Job Description:
-Although the client does not need an IT PM she does need a business side PM who can talk the talk with IT/Technology partners; understanding testing strategy and where the project is in the SDLC and how that roles up into the PMLC.
-The business side PM must have experience working with tight timelines managing large complex projects.
-PMO experience is a huge bonus although the client will consider PM's with experience at other FI's or who have worked in a large highly regulated industry or who have had other demonstrated success with large, complex projects.
- Be able to manage complex projects that impact multiple business lines.
- Be PMP certified
- Have regulatory change experience
- Be able to manage a $10mm
project
- Be independent and able to work effectively under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Lead development of the business requirement documentation via gap analysis and joint requirement sessions
- Responsible party for development and acceptance of all project deliverables (SDLC & PMLC)
- Actively monitor project progression to scope, timeline and budget and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
- Understand and be able to competently oversee the SDLC in addition to the PMLC.
- Have some IT background (while this is not for an IT PM position, the Business PM is ultimately responsible for IT's success or failure)
- Be capable of managing the financial forecasts and reconciliations for the project
- Oversee multiple business line stakeholders
